Before a waiter can open a table in POS Restaurant mode, the system prompts for the number of guests. This ensures that every table has an associated guest count right from the start of service. Guest Information Printed on Receipts
Once the guest count is entered, the information automatically appears on the printed receipt. This screen shows the configuration option for enabling the guest count requirement. In Odoo, navigate to Settings - Point of Sale - Restaurant and enable the checkbox - Enable Restaurant Guest Required.

2.) Guest Count Popup on Table Selection
When a waiter selects a table in the POS Restaurant floor view, a popup window appears prompting for the number of guests. This step prevents the user from opening the order screen until the guest count is entered. The intuitive design allows quick input with just a few taps, keeping the ordering flow smooth and efficient.
3.) Guest Count Display on Receipt
After the order is completed and the receipt is printed, the guest count appears automatically on the printed bill. This helps staff and management easily verify guest data at the end of each transaction. It also enhances reporting accuracy for dine-in metrics, allowing restaurants to analyze table usage and average guest spending more effectively. The printed receipt clearly indicates both the table number and guest count for complete traceability.
