Promotions & Product Offers for Point of Sale
This module extends Odoo Point of Sale by adding smart promotional rules allowing discounts or free items directly linked to products. It supports two offer types: Discount on Product and Complimentary Item on Purchase.

Discount Offers on Products
This feature allows you to apply automatic percentage or fixed-amount discounts on selected products directly in the Point of Sale system. When a cashier adds a product with an active discount offer, the system automatically adjusts the price and displays the discount on the order line. It ensures consistent pricing and reduces manual errors, helping businesses run time-limited promotions effortlessly while maintaining full visibility of discounted sales.
Complimentary Product Offers
With this feature, you can configure Buy X, Get Y Free type offers in POS. For example, when a customer purchases a minimum quantity of a specific product, they automatically receive another product (the complimentary item) at no cost. The system adds the free product to the POS order automatically, clearly marking it as a complimentary item.
POS Offer Visibility
Products with active offers are highlighted with an Offer label, making them easily identifiable for cashiers and customers. During checkout, applied discounts or free items are automatically reflected in the order summary

1.) Configure Discount Offer on Product
This screen shows how a product can be configured with a discount offer directly from the product form view in Odoo. Under the POS Offers tab, the user can enable the Is Complimentary Product checkbox and select the Offer Type as Discount on Product. The Discount Percentage field allows defining the discount rate applied automatically in the Point of Sale.

2.) Configure Complimentary Product Offer
In this screen, the product LED Lamp is configured with a complimentary offer. When the user enables Is Complimentary Product, selects the Offer Type as Get Free Item, and defines the Limit Offer (minimum purchase quantity), the system automatically provides the Free POS Product

3.) Offer Label Display in POS Product Screen
Once offers are configured, products with active promotions are highlighted in the POS product grid with an - Offer tag. This visual indication helps POS users and customers quickly identify which products are part of a promotion.
4.) Discount Offer Applied in POS Order
When a cashier adds a discounted product, such as the - Cabinet with Doors, to the POS order, the system automatically applies the predefined discount percentage. The order line displays the applied discount clearly, showing transparency in the billing process.
5.) Complimentary Product Automatically Added to Order
the customer purchases two - LED Lamps as per the promotional rule. The POS system automatically adds the complimentary item - Whiteboard Pen to the order at zero cost. The complimentary product is clearly labeled, ensuring both the customer and the cashier are aware of the free item being added as part of the offer.
6.) Offer Summary in POS Order Backend View
After completing the POS transaction, the backend order view shows the full offer details. It lists all products sold, applied discounts, and complimentary items in a single view. The discount percentage and zero-priced complimentary products are displayed in the order line, ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting.
