Real-Time Profitability Tracking in POS Interface
This feature provides live visibility into your earnings during the checkout process by displaying the margin for every individual line item added to the cart. It also dynamically calculates a "Total Margin" at the bottom of the order screen, giving the cashier or manager an immediate overview of the order's profitability before the transaction is finalized.
Comprehensive Order History and Margin Analysis
Every completed transaction is recorded with detailed financial data, including a dedicated "POS Margin" column for each product and a total margin percentage for the entire order. This allows managers to review past performance and audit the profitability of specific sales sessions directly from the backend.
Reporting and Pivot Data Integration
The app fully integrates margin data into the Odoo Reporting dashboard, specifically under the "Orders Analysis" section where "Margin" becomes a selectable measure. 1.) Easy Module Activation
The application integrates directly into the core Odoo settings under a dedicated branding section. This allows administrators to quickly toggle the "POS Margin" functionality on or off with a single checkbox.

Within the Product Variant form, a dedicated Margin field is added under the General Information tab to provide instant financial clarity. This field automatically calculates the potential profit by comparing the Sales Price against the Cost for that specific item.

The POS frontend is enhanced to show live margin data for every line item added to a customer's cart. In addition to individual line profits, the system dynamically calculates a "Total Margin" at the bottom of the screen, providing the cashier with immediate feedback on the order profitability.
