Display Both Sales Price and Discount Price in POS
This feature enhances product visibility in the Point of Sale by showing both the regular Sales Price and the Discount Price side by side. The original price appears crossed out while the discount price is highlighted, helping cashiers easily identify promotions and allowing customers to instantly recognize discounts.
Automatically Apply Discount Price During Transactions
Once a product has a Discount Price set, the POS automatically applies that price when adding the item to an order. You no longer need to manually adjust discounts or prices - the system handles it seamlessly. This automation minimizes human errors, saves time for POS users, and ensures that all sales accurately reflect the intended promotional pricing.

1.) Configuration Setting - Enable Discount Price Display
This screen shows the configuration option added under Settings - INKERP, where the user can enable the feature Display Discount Price with Sales Price. Once activated, the POS will show both the original sales price and the discounted price for each product. This setting gives full control to the administrator, allowing the business to activate or deactivate discount price visibility in POS as needed - ideal for promotions, special offers, or seasonal campaigns.

2.) Product Setup - Add Discount Price on Product Variant
This screenshot displays the Product Variant form view, where a new field Discount Price is available alongside the standard Sales Price. Here, the user can define a lower price that represents a promotional or discounted rate. When this field is filled in, the POS system will automatically use this discounted value during transactions.

3.) Display and Apply Discount Price
This screen showcases the Odoo POS interface after enabling the discount display feature. Products with a discount are shown with two prices - the original Sales Price (struck through) and the Discount Price (highlighted and active). When the cashier adds such an item to an order, the POS automatically applies the discounted rate for calculations.
