Manufacturing Category
Manufacturing Category is an Odoo module designed to improve organization and visibility within the manufacturing workflow. It introduces a dedicated Manufacturing Category option under the Products menu, allowing users to create and manage categories specifically for manufacturing items. Each category can be customized with colors and easily viewed across kanban, list, and form views, making it simpler to identify and manage manufacturing products and related orders.

Dedicated Manufacturing Category Management
The module adds a new section under the Products menu where users can create and manage manufacturing categories. This allows businesses to organize manufacturing products in a structured way separate from standard product classifications.
Color-Coded Category Identification
Each manufacturing category can be assigned a specific color, making it easier to visually distinguish categories within the system. This visual organization improves the user experience, especially when working with multiple product groups.
Category Integration in Manufacturing Orders
Manufacturing categories can be selected directly while working with manufacturing orders. Once assigned, the category name and its color are reflected in list and kanban views of the orders.

2.) Manufacturing Orders View
Manufacturing orders can be associated with a specific manufacturing category, allowing the order to inherit its label and visual color indicator. This makes it easier to recognize the category of each order directly within kanban and list views, helping teams quickly understand what type of production task they are handling and keep workflows organized.
