Import Stock with Serial number/Lot number
Import Stock with Serial Number/Lot Number is an efficient Odoo solution for importing bulk inventory data using XLS or CSV files. It supports product code, barcode, or product name along with quantity, UOM, location, pack, and serial/lot number details. Users can optionally import expiry dates for lot or serial number tracking. The module also identifies failed products or UOMs and generates a separate file for easy correction and re-import.

Import inventory data quickly using either XLS or CSV files with support for product code, barcode, or product name identification. The feature also supports lot/serial numbers, quantities, UOMs, locations, packs, and optional expiry dates, making bulk inventory updates simple and efficient.
Smart Failed Data Management
Automatically identifies products or UOMs that cannot be matched during the import process and generates a separate failed-rows XLS or CSV file. Users can easily review the unsuccessful records, correct the data, and re-import them without losing track of failed inventory entries.

1.) Download Sample XLS/CSV Files
Download ready-to-use XLS or CSV sample files for importing inventory data. Select the required file format and sample type to prepare data in the correct structure before starting the import process.

2.) Import Inventory with Expiry Date
Import inventory data with lot/serial numbers and expiry dates using the XLS or CSV sample format. The sample includes product details, quantity, UOM, lot number, expiry date, location, and pack information.

3.) Import Inventory without Expiry Date
Import inventory data without expiry dates when expiry tracking is not required for the selected lot or serial numbers. XLS and CSV files can be prepared using the provided sample structure for quick and accurate inventory import.

4.) Import Inventory from XLS File
Upload the prepared XLS file through the Import Inventory wizard and select the required import options. The system processes the uploaded inventory data and creates the corresponding inventory records automatically.

5.) View Imported Inventory Data
After a successful import, the newly created lot or serial number records are available directly in the inventory list. Users can review imported products, lot or serial numbers, company information, creation details, and related inventory records.

6.) View Imported Lot Details
Open an imported lot or serial number to review its complete inventory information. The lot form displays the product, quantity, location, company, and applicable expiry-related dates created through the inventory import process.

7.) Import Inventory from CSV File
Upload inventory information using a CSV file when CSV format is preferred for data preparation. The wizard supports CSV imports with product identification, quantity, UOM, lot information, location, and pack details.

8.) Generate Failed Product XLS/CSV File
If some products or UOMs cannot be found during import, the system identifies the failed rows instead of silently ignoring the data. A failed-products file is generated in XLS or CSV format so users can easily review and correct the unsuccessful records.

9.) Review Failed Import Product File
Open the generated failed-products XLS or CSV file to identify the inventory rows that could not be imported. Users can review the failed product information, correct the data, and use the updated file for another import attempt.
