Overtime Rate Setup
The module allows businesses to set customizable overtime rates for weekdays, weekends, and holidays. This setup can be applied either individually for each employee or as a default for those without a specific rate. The system also includes time difference limits to ensure fairness and consistency in overtime calculations, reducing the complexity of manual adjustments and enhancing accuracy in payroll calculations.
Approval Process
HR Managers have the ability to review, approve, or cancel overtime entries before they are included in the payroll. This approval process ensures that all overtime hours are validated and comply with company policies.
Payroll Integration
This feature ensures that overtime hours are automatically included in employee payslips, reflecting the calculated overtime pay based on the configured rates. The integration streamlines the payroll process by eliminating the need for manual data entry, improving accuracy and saving valuable time during payroll preparation.
Detailed Reporting
The module provides the ability to generate detailed overtime reports, allowing businesses to track overtime by employee or date range. These reports can be exported in PDF or Excel formats, offering a clear and professional view of overtime costs.

1.) Overtime in Salary Slips
This feature calculates overtime based on the employee's working schedule and includes it in the salary slip.
2.) Employee Overtime Settings
In the Employees → HR Settings tab, you can set specific overtime rates for weekdays, weekends, and holidays for each employee.

This screenshot displays the Overtime Configuration settings where administrators can configure default overtime rates and time difference limits for employees who do not have an individual overtime rate set in their profile.

Employees can only view their own overtime records.
5.) HR Manager Overtime Approval
HR Managers can mark overtime as "To be Approved," and then either approve or cancel it. They can view all overtime records.
6.) HR Overtime Salary Rule
Create a new salary rule called 'HR Overtime Salary Rule' to include overtime calculations in the payslip.
Navigation : Payroll → Contract → New (when setting up the employee contract).
7.) Create Salary Structure Types
Define the salary structure types to categorize and organize salary rules, including overtime, for proper payroll processing.
Navigation : Payroll → Structure Type → New

Set up salary structures to define the components of employee compensation, including overtime.

9.) Create Structure Rule
Define the rules for calculating salary components, including overtime, within the salary structure.
Navigation : Payroll → Rule → New
10.) Overtime in Salary Rule Category
By computing the payroll sheet, the calculated overtime will appear under Details by Salary Rule Category.

After computing the payroll sheet, the calculated overtime will be displayed in the Accounting Information section.
12.) Overtime Status after Payslip Confirmation
Once the payslip is confirmed, the status of the related overtime will change to 'Done'.

15.) Overtime Report Generation
To print the overtime report, go to Overtime ➡ Report ➡ Overtime. In the wizard, select the Start Date, End Date, and Employee to generate the overtime report. If the Payslip Detail field is set to True, the report will include the payslip reference and the status of the payslip.
16.) Print PDF Report
Option to generate the overtime report in PDF format after selecting the relevant parameters.
17.) Print Excel Report
Option to generate the overtime report in Excel format after selecting the relevant parameters.
