Fleet Vehicle View Type Restriction
Fleet Vehicle View Type Restriction provides flexible control over the View Type option in the Odoo Fleet Vehicle interface. It allows administrators to manage View Type visibility for individual users according to their roles and operational requirements. When the restriction is enabled, the selected user cannot change or select different views from the Fleet Vehicle interface. The module operates independently of existing Fleet access rights and standard Odoo security permissions. It provides a controlled and consistent user experience without changing the availability of individual Fleet Vehicle views.

Individual Fleet View Type Control
Administrators can assign the View Type option for individual Fleet users based on their responsibilities. This provides flexible control over the Fleet Vehicle interface without changing existing access permissions. Each user's configuration can be managed according to business requirements.
Hide View Type Option
When the restriction is enabled, the View Type option is removed from the selected user's Fleet Vehicle interface. This prevents users from switching between different vehicle views directly from the interface. The feature controls only the View Type option and does not restrict individual Fleet Vehicle views.

1.)Admin View Type Access Rights
Go to Settings and open the Users menu to configure the required user access. Select the desired user and locate the Fleet Vehicle: View Types access option. Set the View Types value to All Views to provide complete access to the available Fleet Vehicle views. This configuration allows the user to access all supported Fleet Vehicle views according to their assigned permissions.

2.)Vehicles
Navigate to the Vehicles menu to view the available Fleet Vehicle records. With the View Types access set to All Views, multiple viewing options are available to the user. The Vehicle records can be displayed in List, Kanban, Activity, and Graph views. This provides a complete overview of vehicle information in different formats.

3.)User View Type Access Rights
Open the required user from the Settings menu and locate the Fleet Vehicles: View Types access setting. Change the View Types option from All Views to No to restrict access to the additional Fleet Vehicle views. This setting limits the user’s available view options while keeping their existing Fleet Vehicle permissions unchanged.

4.)Vehicles
Open the Vehicles menu to check the available Fleet Vehicle views after applying the restriction. With Fleet Vehicles: View Types set to No, only the List view remains accessible to the user. Other views such as Kanban, Activity, and Graph are no longer visible, helping maintain a simplified Fleet Vehicle interface.
