eLearning Local Video Upload
eLearning Local Video Upload allows administrators to upload video files directly into eLearning video lessons instead of depending only on external video links. The module supports configurable video extensions and maximum upload sizes, automatically detects the uploaded file MIME type, validates files before saving, and plays local videos directly inside the standard course and fullscreen lesson experience using native browser controls. Uploaded local videos replace the external video source for the selected lesson while preserving course navigation, lesson completion, member progress, preview access, and the familiar eLearning learning experience.
Features
Local Video Upload for eLearning Lessons
Upload video files directly from the eLearning content form for lessons configured with the Video content type. The uploaded file is stored with the lesson and becomes its primary video source.
Configurable Allowed Video Extensions
Administrators can define which file extensions are accepted for locally uploaded eLearning videos from the settings screen. Common formats such as MP4, WebM, OGG, MOV, and M4V can be enabled according to business requirements.
Configurable Maximum Video Size
Set the maximum permitted size for each uploaded local video directly from the module settings. Files exceeding the configured limit are rejected before they can be used as lesson content.
No Visible Download Button
The local video player is configured without the standard visible download control in supported browsers. Learners can focus on watching the course content through the lesson interface without being presented with a normal download button.
