Restriction on Stock Location
The Stock Location Restriction module enhances access control in the Odoo Inventory application by limiting user access to specific warehouse locations. With this module, administrators can define which users or user groups are allowed to view, select, or perform operations in particular stock locations such as internal, customer, vendor, or transit locations.
Features
User-Based Stock Location Restrictions
This feature allows administrators to control which stock locations a user can access. By assigning a dedicated Stock Location Restriction group to selected users, managers can ensure that those users only interact with the locations relevant to their role.
Location-Level User Assignment
Managers can define restrictions directly within each stock location by selecting specific users who should not have access to that location. This makes the configuration flexible and easy to manage from the location form view.
Automatic Location Visibility Control
Once restrictions are configured, the system automatically hides restricted locations from the affected users across inventory records. This ensures that users only see locations they are authorized to access, reducing confusion and preventing unintended stock operations.
