Advance Table Booking & Reservation
This feature allows restaurants to create and manage table reservations in advance directly within Odoo. Staff can schedule bookings by date and time, assign tables, and record guest details for better planning. It helps ensure organized seating arrangements and smooth service during busy hours.
Smart Double Booking Prevention
The system automatically validates table availability before confirming a reservation. Tables already reserved or occupied during a selected time slot cannot be booked again, preventing conflicts and operational mistakes. This ensures reliable reservations and builds customer trust.
Reservation to POS Order Conversion

Administrators to enable and configure the POS Restaurant Table Booking & Reservation feature from Odoo Settings. Once activated, the module integrates seamlessly with the POS Restaurant workflow, enabling time-slot-based table reservations across POS sessions.

2.) Restaurant Time Slots Management
Users can create and organize booking intervals such as morning, afternoon, or evening slots, which are later used to control table availability and reservation scheduling.

3.) Time Slot Details & Statistics
This view displays detailed information about a selected time slot, including start and end times. It also shows real-time statistics such as total tables, booked tables for the day, and whether the slot is fully booked, helping managers monitor capacity efficiently.
4.) POS Restaurant Floor with Table Booking Option
The restaurant floor layout with tables displayed visually. A dedicated Table Book option is available in the POS menu, allowing staff to manage reservations directly from the POS interface without leaving the session.
5.) Table Booking Screen with Date, Floor & Table Selection
Staff to select a booking date, choose a restaurant floor, and view available tables for the selected time slot. Tables are visually highlighted based on availability, allowing quick and accurate reservation selection.
6.) Book Table Popup - Customer Details Entry
This popup allows staff to create a new table reservation by entering customer details such as name, phone number, email, and number of guests. The simple and clean interface ensures fast booking with minimal effort during busy service hours.
7.) Reserved Table Status in POS
Once a table is reserved, it is clearly highlighted in the POS interface with customer details displayed on the table card. This visual indication helps staff instantly identify reserved tables and avoid accidental seating conflicts.
8.) Backend Table Booking Record
Backend reservation record with complete customer and booking details, including table, date, time slot, and guest count. Booking statuses such as Booked, Seated, Completed, or Cancelled allow staff to track reservation progress accurately.
9.) Reservation Status Updated to Seated
Restaurant staff to update a confirmed reservation to the Seated status when the customer arrives at the restaurant. Marking a reservation as seated confirms that the guests have been assigned to the reserved table and service has begun. This ensures accurate tracking of active reservations and aligns table usage with real-time restaurant operations.
10.) Reservation Transition from Seated to Completed
Updating the status to Completed indicates that the table is no longer occupied and is available for new bookings. This step helps maintain precise reservation records and supports efficient table turnover.
11.) Reservation Successfully Completed
Reservation that has been fully completed, with all customer and booking details preserved for reference and reporting. The completed status confirms that the reservation lifecycle has ended and the associated table has been released. This provides clear closure and ensures accurate historical tracking of reservations.
