Flexible Modifier Group Configuration
The app allows you to create multiple modifier groups such as drinks, toppings, or extras and configure them independently. Each modifier group can contain multiple modifier products with their own additional prices. These groups can then be reused across different POS products, making setup fast, flexible, and easy to maintain.
Interactive POS Modifier Selection
When a cashier selects a product in the POS, a clean and intuitive modifier popup appears automatically. Modifier products are displayed in organized groups with clear pricing information. Users can add multiple modifiers, adjust quantities, and instantly see price updates before adding the item to the cart.
Automatic Price & Tax Calculation
All modifier prices are automatically added to the main product price in real time. The system ensures that taxes are calculated correctly based on the final amount, including all selected modifiers. This removes manual calculations and prevents billing errors at the POS counter.

1.) Enable Product Modifiers from POS Settings
The Product Modifiers feature can be easily enabled from the system settings. Once activated, it allows businesses to configure and use product modifiers directly in the Odoo Point of Sale. This ensures quick setup without any technical complexity.

2.) Mark Products as Modifier Items
Products can be marked as modifier products using a dedicated checkbox. These modifier products are separated from normal POS items and can be reused across multiple modifier groups. This provides better control and cleaner product management.

3.) Create and Manage POS Modifier Groups
The system provides a dedicated menu to create and manage modifier groups. Each group represents a category of add-ons such as drinks, toppings, or sides. Modifier groups help organize options clearly for faster POS selection.

4.) Assign Modifier Products with Extra Prices
Modifier products can be added to a group along with their individual extra prices. Each modifier is linked to an existing product, ensuring accurate pricing and inventory consistency. This setup allows flexible upselling at the POS.

5.) Attach Modifier Groups to POS Products
Modifier groups can be assigned directly to POS products using a dedicated Modifiers tab. Multiple modifier groups can be linked to a single product. This enables product customization based on business requirements.

6.) POS Modifier Selection Popup
When a product is selected in the POS, a clean and user-friendly modifier popup appears. Cashiers can easily view available modifier groups and select required add-ons. This improves order accuracy and customer satisfaction.
7.) Adjust Modifier Quantity in Real Time
The POS interface allows users to increase or decrease modifier quantities using plus and minus buttons. Prices update instantly based on the selected quantity. This is ideal for selling multiple add-ons with a single product.
8.) Clear Modifier Display in POS Cart
Selected modifiers are displayed clearly under the main product in the POS cart. Each modifier shows its name, quantity, and extra price. This ensures transparency for both cashier and customer before payment.
9.) Modifier Information Printed on Receipt
All selected modifiers are printed on the POS receipt along with their prices and quantities. This provides full clarity to customers and reduces order disputes. The receipt format remains clean and professional.
10.) Modifier Details Stored in POS Orders
Modifier selections are saved in the backend POS order with complete details. Each modifier appears under the main product for accurate reporting and accounting. This ensures seamless integration between POS and backend operations.
