Enable Manufacturing Order Creation from POS
When this feature is active, a Manufacturing Order (MO) can be triggered directly from the Point of Sale (POS) interface. Products configured with “To Create MRP Order” will automatically generate a corresponding MO upon validating the POS order.
Product & Variant Configuration for MRP Integration
Only products or variants with a Bill of Materials (BoM) and the “To Create MRP Order” flag enabled in their form can trigger manufacturing flows. This ensures precise control-only designated items initiate production, avoiding unnecessary MO generation.
BO M Validation and Warning System
If a product lacks the required Bill of Materials, the module raises a warning during the POS flow. This preemptively alerts staff, preventing incomplete manufacturing instructions from being created. The safeguard maintains data integrity and ensures MOs are actionable and accurate.
Configurable MO State: Draft or Done
You can choose whether generated Manufacturing Orders appear in Draft state or are immediately marked as Done directly from POS. This flexibility suits both hands-off quick fulfillment scenarios and those requiring further approvals or processing.
