Price Locking for Multiple Areas
The Lock Price module allows managers to lock product prices across various processes, including sales orders, purchase orders, and invoicing. This functionality is activated by checking a simple boolean field for specific users, ensuring that the product price is fixed and cannot be modified during transactions.
User-Specific Price Locking
The module also provides the ability to lock prices for individual users. By selecting the relevant options, managers can specify which users are allowed to modify prices and which are not.
Read-Only Price View for Products
Once the price is locked, users will see a read-only field for the locked product price across different areas such as sales quotations, invoicing (credit notes, bills, and refunds), and purchase orders. This ensures that prices are only visible but cannot be edited, helping avoid pricing discrepancies.
