Chatter at Bottom :
Place the chatter section below the form view. This makes the form look clean and full screen. You can scroll through records without distraction. Chatter only appears when you reach the bottom.
Flexible Layout Options :
Adjust layout instantly based on your workflow. Each user can choose their preferred style. Provides freedom and flexibility in Odoo forms.
Full Screen Chatter :
Expand the chatter to use the entire screen width. User can switch between chatter and form view. User can see one view at a time either chatter or form. Ideal for users who prefer a wide layout. Makes data entry and review more comfortable.
Hide Chatter :
Remove chatter completely from the form view. Gives you a distraction‑free workspace. Perfect when you don’t need chatter at all. Helps focus only on the main record details.

1) From User Menu Select Preferences
User can also navigate from Settings → Users → Chatter Tab
2) Chatter Selection View
The user can select any chatter option from the Chatter tab. The selected chatter mode will be applied to that user across all chatter views, with the default mode set to Flexible.
3) Flexible Chatter View
In Flexible mode, the user can adjust the width of the chatter.
4) Full Screen Mode
In Full Screen mode, the user can view the chatter in full screen while the form view is hidden. The user can switch between the form view and the chatter, but only one view is visible at a time.

The 'chat' icon in the header allows the user to switch between the form view and the chatter view.
