The Customer or Vendor Fields module enhances contact management in Odoo by reintroducing the ability to clearly distinguish between customers and vendors using dedicated boolean fields. While this functionality was available in earlier Odoo versions, it was removed in later releases this module restores it with a simple and intuitive approach.

This module adds clear boolean options Is Customer and Is Vendor directly within the contact form, allowing users to classify each contact accurately. This eliminates ambiguity when managing large contact databases and ensures that every contact is assigned a proper business role.
Smart Filtering in Sales and Purchase Workflows
Contacts are automatically filtered based on their assigned role, ensuring that only relevant records appear in specific workflows. For example, only contacts marked as customers are available in sales orders and quotations, while vendor-marked contacts are available in purchase-related processes.
